About Dicekite
Dicekite is a free set of random generators that run in your browser: a spin wheel, number and letter draws, dice, group splitter and a Secret Santa matcher. Every pick comes from the browser’s cryptographic random source, so each option has exactly the same chance.
Why we built it
Game nights, classrooms and office gift swaps all need an impartial coin flip now and then. Most online pickers hide how they choose or ask for your email. Dicekite shows its method on the page, keeps your lists on your device and has no sign-up.
What is on the site
- A wheel for names, snacks or chores, with equal-sized slices.
- Number, dice and letter draws for board games, bingo calls and classroom starters.
- A group splitter and a Secret Santa draw where nobody gets themselves.
What Dicekite is not
It is not a gambling service, a lottery or a prize platform. We do not collect entry fees, run draws for money or keep your participant lists.
How the random picks were tested
The Dicekite team writes the pages and the code. On 12 October 2026 we ran the site’s random function, the same rejection-sampling routine the generators use, 1,200,000 times as a six-sided die. Each face came up between 199,576 and 200,428 times against an expected 200,000, and the chi-square statistic was 2.28 (the 5% limit for five degrees of freedom is 11.07).
We also shuffled eight names 200,000 times the way the Secret Santa draw does. In 36.96% of shuffles nobody drew themselves; the exact figure is 14,833 of 40,320 orders, or 36.79%. If a tool ever looks biased, we fix it and say so on the page.

Is it free to use?
