Streaks are part of randomness

A die has no memory. The chance that the next roll repeats the last one is 1 in 6 (16.7%) every time, and five identical faces in a row, counting the first roll, happen about once in 1,296 sequences. A wheel can stop on the same slice twice; that is not a fault.

Money, prizes and the law

Dicekite is no casino, lottery or sweepstakes. Where a draw involves money, regulated prizes or choosing people for jobs, housing or court, use a service that records and audits the draw. The generators leave no record you could show to a regulator.

The league and country lists in the team generator are a snapshot: 32 NFL teams, 30 NBA, 30 MLB, 32 NHL and 193 countries. Franchises move and rename, so check the current season before you rely on a list. Team and brand names belong to their owners and appear only to describe the lists.

Character and song tools

The character generator uses races, classes and backgrounds from the free Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition System Reference Document and has no tie to Wizards of the Coast. The song word generator draws from word lists written for the site, so it does not promise lyrics nobody else has written.
